Urgent Care
Life with cats is never boring. Unexpected health changes, such as injuries, illness, or simply acting abnormally, can lead to stress and anxiety—especially when it’s too late to get a same-day or next-day appointment.
For life’s little surprises, Crescenta Cañada Cat Clinic offers urgent care services during our normal business hours. With urgent care, you and your cat can enjoy prompt, need-based veterinary care in a familiar environment, with a team you know and trust.

When Would My Cat Need Urgent Care?
Veterinary urgent care is appropriate for most non-life-threatening feline illnesses, injuries, and conditions such as:
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Difficulty urinating or defecating
- Allergic reactions
- Excessive itching
- Lethargy
- Limping or sudden lameness
- Minor wounds, abscesses, or bleeding
- Persistent coughing or sneezing
- Eye injuries or discharge
- Insect bites or stings
- Pain
- Toxin ingestion
Urgent care is not appropriate for life-threatening conditions such as difficulty breathing, trauma, seizures, paralysis, or collapse. If your pet is experiencing one of these conditions, seek immediate emergency care.

What To Expect
We kindly ask that you call before arriving for urgent care to ensure we have the resources to accommodate your cat. Please bring your cat in a secure carrier for their safety and comfort. When you arrive, a trained team member will assess your cat to determine the severity of their condition. While we strive to provide timely care, patients are seen in order of need. If your cat’s condition is minor, we may ask you to wait in your vehicle or our cozy, feline-friendly lobby.
